SELF-EMPLOYED STATUS
• You understand that you will be working as a self-employed cleaner and are responsible for your own tax and National Insurance obligations.
WORKING ARRANGEMENTS
• Clients introduced through Dolly Char will pay you directly at the agreed hourly rate.
• You are expected to complete the full agreed cleaning time and act professionally at all times.
• You must not take friends, family members or any other person with you to a client's property without Dolly Char's permission.
COMMUNICATION
• You agree to notify both the client and Dolly Char as soon as possible if illness, holidays or any other circumstances prevent you from attending.
• You agree to keep Dolly Char informed of any changes to a client's hours or cleaning arrangements.
NOTICE PERIODS
• You agree to give Dolly Char a minimum of 4 weeks' notice if you wish to stop working for a client introduced by Dolly Char.
• Any client keys held by you must be returned immediately by personal hand delivery if an arrangement ends.
BREACH OF AGREEMENT
• Failure to comply with these Terms & Conditions may result in Dolly Char withdrawing current or future work opportunities.
• Where Dolly Char incurs reasonable and direct costs as a result of a cleaner's serious or repeated breach of this agreement, the cleaner may be asked to reimburse those costs.
• Examples may include the cost of replacing lost or unreturned keys, expenses incurred due to insufficient notice being given, or losses arising from deliberate actions that result in the avoidable loss of a client introduced by Dolly Char.
• Dolly Char will always investigate the circumstances and seek to resolve any concerns fairly and amicably before pursuing reimbursement.
CONFIDENTIALITY & SECURITY
• You understand that all client information is confidential.
• You agree to keep clients' homes secure and ensure that any keys or security codes cannot be linked back to a client's address.
HEALTH & SAFETY
• You confirm that you have read and understood the Health & Safety guidance contained within the Cleaner Handbook and agree to work in accordance with those safe methods.
• You understand that bleach must not be used whilst working for Dolly Char, as it is excluded from insurance cover.
CHANGES TO TERMS
• You understand that Dolly Char may amend these terms by giving not less than 4 weeks' notice of any changes.
